Free Agent Boston came to life in 1999 when Sooz invited a group of freelance cohorts to lunch. The event transformed into a monthly lunch in the greater Boston area. The project went on haitus in late 2004 and will be hosting events again April 2008.

Free Agent Boston events are a few parts social + networking + support for anyone working on their own as a free agent or freelancer plus people working in small groups. People attend from all sorts of industries. This is not an event exclusive to the tech/web/internet industries.
